Welcome. My name is Mark Fearer. I am an aspiring career switcher. My current day job is supervising a team of information security auditors at the United States Securities and Exchange Commission. We visit stock exchanges and look at their computing infrastructure with a mission of their systems being available and secure for the investing public. I am at a stage in life where I may consider retiring. A possible definition of retirement could be getting to do what you love, and I believe teaching to be a noble profession, one that I feel called to.
I invite you to follow my weekly journeys as I learn how to present material to grade schoolers after being conditioned as an engineer in a legal regulator.
